Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

J-Mac is nowhere near as physical as Snow on the defensive end. Snow will keep J-Mac glued to the bench in the 4th..

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

Tonight Chicago, Washington, and Orlando all lost (Detroit won 64-62..) so we REALLY need to pull this one out.

And Reggie Miller is killing us with all these free throws!

Man Snow does a great job moving his feet! Excellent lateral movement on that play, he needs to teach Jmac a thing or two.

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

This was a great win to me, the Pacers were depleted but our guys stepped up the intensity in the 4th quarter and Lebron just took over the game (how about the "MVP" chants ). When Bron is aggressive like that on offense nobody can stop him.

I thought Silas did a tremendous job with the rotations tonight as well.

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

Boxscore: Cleveland 98, Indiana 86

* The crowd chanting "MVP, MVP" for LeBron was awesome. He really willed himself down the stretch and hit clutch shots. A young man with a strong will.
* Having AV back is great but seeing him play extended minutes again is vital to the team. His sheer effort out there on both sides of the ball is something Cleveland is grateful to have.
* On a side note, Usher and Luke Jackson were courtside. Nice to see Jackson is still rooting for the team and still looks thin (nice to see he hasn't ballooned in weight since he's not playing).

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

This kind of effort for the last 20 or 21 games and this team will grow into a team to be reckoned with in the playoffs. There were a few lulls in energy, but they always picked things back up. Anderson's energy and Snow's defensive intensity were the keys to me. And of course LeBron's will to win.

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

Well season low by McInnis in minutes. From my calculation Snow had a +31 points compared to Snow in +/-!!! Silas did a good job: lots of Sasha, Jiri, and most importantly Snow

Nice game. From what I saw, you guys came out more determined and with a lot more energy. Yet another blown opportunity by Indiana.

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

My compliments to Silas. Good rotations and a couple of good moves: 0 minutes for Harris and really cut down on McInnis' minutes. With Sasha and Welsh getting time I think the offense is good enough to bring Snow in.

Snow looked very good in there particulary with Sasha/Welsh. Now only if McInnis gets benched

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

^^If you bench Jmac who knows if he'll blow up though. You saw how he reacted to reduced minutes in Portland, i'd be very surprised if you saw him take a reduced role gracefully.

Re: Indiana at Cleveland (3/13/05)

^^Yea I don't really care about Jmac but maybe the best thing to do is let him start but then let Snow get the majority of minutes. That actually won't be bad idea; only play Mcinnis when Newble is in there. Any time Sasha and Jiri are in there with Lebron (both of whom I hope their minutes will increase significantly) then Snow definitely needs to be in there.

Who cares what Jmac thinks. He needs to be booted in the offseason.

Let J-Mac continue to start but let Snow finish games (in which he's done well at times). I always felt being a starter wasn't as important as being a finisher. Let Jeff get some time, put up his stats and think everything is a bed of roses. But in the end, let Snow handle the big moments. Jeff might not be happy but at least in this arrangement, he wouldn't be pissed (in the case of just axing his minutes altogether). Under this plan, the Cavaliers would be stronger coming down the stretch.
