Cleveland lost against Houston with a big meltdown in the 4th quarter. Now the Cavaliers must face the Mavericks in Dallas. With another strong Western Conference team on the plate and other +.500 teams in the future, Cleveland has to pick up their level of basketball. Good perimeter teams have had the Cavaliers’ number. Nowitzki is going to be impossible to guard and trying to shut down or even contain the Mavericks is not going to be plausible. Cleveland should hope a few Mavericks’ players are cold from long distance because Cleveland won’t win the jumpshot battle. In the last 2 games, the Cavaliers have pushed the ball, increasing the temp and putting on their track spikes. But Dallas can run too.
With Snow being a full-time starter in the Malone-era, the Cavaliers have a different look to their starting line up. While Snow gives up some offense, his heady play offsets that. His shooting is usually not there but a solid passer of the ball.
This could be real ugly. Terry, Harris, Daniels, Howard all going against us. Snow can't guard of all them.
Dallas's strengths are exactly where are weaknesses lie.
Only way we win this one is a huge and I mean one of his best of his young career games from Lebron

My Favorite 10 in order Lebron • Wade • Ginobili • Deron Williams • A. Miller • AV • "Boobie" Gibson • Roy • Dirk • Hedo
I wouldn't bet the farm on the Cavs, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the Mavs lose focus once again. They have shown a major lack of cohesiveness with the absence of Dampeir; Dirk is where it starts and ends, and teams are starting to figure out that playing him physically still takes him out of his game.
DALLAS (Ticker) -- The struggling Cleveland Cavaliers will have a tough time ending their road woes when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Tied with the Chicago Bulls for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers are not playing like a team fighting for playoff positioning, having lost their last 10 road contests and four of their last five overall.
To make matters worse, Cleveland has lost to Dallas seven consecutive times, including its last four trips here. This will be the first meeting between the clubs this season.
After winning his first game as interim coach, Brendan Malone was handed his first loss when Cleveland fell at Houston, 99-80, on Thursday. LeBron James struggled from the floor, making just 7-of-22 shots and finishing with 19 points after averaging 34 in his previous six games.
Drew Gooden scored 20 and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 16 for the Cavaliers.
Dallas had a four-game winning streak stopped in a 109-101 loss at Sacramento on Thursday, dropping Avery Johnson to 3-1 since taking over for Don Nelson on a permanent basis last week.
Dirk Nowitzki collected 35 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Devin Harris and Keith Van Horn each added 16 points off the bench.
I still beleive that this will be a testig game for the Mavs and will have to pull their socks up from the game at Sacremento to win.

I like your crew. But today is not a good day to be a Dallas Maverick. Lebron is going to be salty after the rockets game. Prepare to get lit up suckerz.

Should be a good game, the Mavs have absolutely no answer inside for Big Z (unless you count bradley) so look for him to have a big night. Lebron should also be able to have a decent game, I would hope the mavs can prevent him from having an above average night
The first quarter was an even battle but the second quarter was all Dallas. Zydrunas appears to be wearing down before our very eyes. He's having trouble finishing, with his lack of lift and strength (despite what his box score stats say). Finley has the pure stroke going; Van Horn is aggressive and attacking when the opportunity presents itself.
Dallas played well and tonight, were every single point better than the Cavaliers. The Mavericks destroyed the Cavaliers with the long ball, knocking down 14 for the game. After the 3rd, James and most of the starters didn't return to the game. The white flag was waved. The scary thing to think about is even with Dirk struggling from the field, Dallas still blew Cleveland out this badly. These two teams will meet again soon in Cleveland but Malone and company better make early preparations to avoid such a fate again.

Lebron got shut down by Howard, and lit up by Finley.
