Hi...
Hello.
I am a long time Wizard, Cavs, and Lakers fan.
I joined I think a year ago, but ended forgetting my password and losing my account due to inactivity, lol.
Anyway I am mostly joining hoping to write for the site to expend my skills on the college level.
Some may know me from IGN basketball board (which as gone to hell).
Anyway considering I am also a Wizard Fan, I fan extremely disappointed that Hughes left but also happy for the Cavs.
I thing Hughes was not the best choice (JJ was in my view), but none were perfect, as Redd and Ray saw themselves as 1st options.
Hughes seemed to be Ok why Arenas as the Star, and he was a good scorer and a good overall player. But his shot, D and durability were suspect.
But I think he could fit since the cavs really needed a second guy who could create and was willing to score when everybody else was watching Lebron.
I was also disappointed by the Z signing on almost every level. the contract was too long and too high for a guy that only scores and does little else great, and who is 30. I thing the Cavs could have given a little else to dalember, who would complement Gooden well. While the Sixers might say they would match anything, i don't think they would have matched a $10/year contract.
The way it looks, if Haslem signs, gooden would be gone for a point Guard.
