There's absolutely no pressure on LeBron. At best, James and Wade have a "gentleman's rivarly" which isn't a rivalry in the tradition sense, because both guys are so humble and kind with one another.
The media keeps trying to pressure LeBron James as if he still needs to prove himself. The older attempts at this followed along the lines of, "The Nuggets went to the playoffs, so LeBron has to have a great sophomore season to prove he's the true ROY." Or new lines such as, "Wade won a title, so LeBron has win one right now to prove he's the best from his draft class." I don't think James is worried about that stuff. He isn't feeling pressured to prove his worth as a basketball player because his basketball speaks for itself. And it will continue to do so.
