The Pistons have set their sights on free-agent shooting guard Ronald "Flip" Murray.

I hope we keep a hold of Flip. He was one of my favorites to watch last year. Exciting player who gives 110%. Kept us going when Larry was out. What do you guys think?

Re: The Pistons have set their sights on free-agent shooting guard Ronald "Flip" Murray.

After the season ended and after hearing some of Flip's PC comments, you knew he was a goner. Then drafting a guy like Shannon Brown, who appears to be Flip's replacement, removed any doubt (not that any doubt remained until then). With James back on board, the team's next priority will be to deal with Drew Gooden (signing or trading). I'm afraid that doesn't leave any focus for Murray.

Flip will not be a Cav next season. I'm a bit surprised the Pistons are interested as he had a pretty bad playoffs

He lost so much money in the playoffs.

But yeah, I don't think Ferry will resign him. He drafted two guys who can play his position in the draft.

Yeah that suprised me when I read that today. I am not to worried about it because this columnist is wrong more then he is right. I defintely want the pistons to pass on flip.

Cavs drafted a Gattica'd up version of Flip Murray in Shannon Brown, so there's really no reason to keep Flip around.

That make no sence at all. Flip wanted to leave to get a starting job because he thought he deserved it. I thought he would go to some place like Toronto. But then he leaves Cleveland for Detroit he had a better shot starting/playing over Hughes than Hamilton.
