does WTAM 1100 do internet broadcasting, I can't find anywhere in Toronto that has the game
edit: nevermind I found this on the website
"WTAM is NOT AUTHORIZED to broadcast the Browns, Cavaliers or Indians
streaming audio over the internet."

If you go to NBA.com you can go to the gamecast and listen to the game off the link there.

Re: Raptors vs. Cavs | Preseason Game #5 | 10/18/2006
Well I have been listening to the radio broadcast from NBA.com. Alot of activity on the Raptors board about the game.
We didnt start Lebron and we started out very slow to their quick guards, but we have pulled even at 51-51 with Sasha at the SF.
Havent heard much from the young guys, seems gooden is doing his usual, also heard Damon knock down a shot or two.

Sounds like we got spanked by the Raps without Lebron. Truly sad how much our team relies on him.
At least Gibson once again played well. I really just want to see him out there one game with the starting 5 to see how he feeds off LBJ.

Re: Box Score
Looks like Ford and Calderon ate up our guards except Gibson

Andy take the night off? 20 minutes 2 pts 1 reb?
It was 57-55 us with our starters in the 3rd quarter, I would amagine that meant our bench played most of the fourth looking at the minutes.
It wasnt just Lebron, Larry and Marshall also sat. So you cant put all the blame on the others.

Bosh and Peterson sat for the Raps as well.......that would be a bit of a wash.

Not really. Lebron is better than Bosh and Peterson combined.
Not that any of it matters. It's just preseason. We lost to the celtics too. We just want the regular season to start, preseason **** doesn't matter.

Re: Raptors vs. Cavs | Preseason Game #5 | 10/18/2006
Clearly wins and losses aren't the objective from the preseason: it's simply to get a grasp of what players after a long offseason or first timers to the NBA are cabable of of on the floor and to determine what sorts of combos, plays, and defensive sets work.
From a Cavs perspective, have to say Gooden's play has been a strong plus and Hughes looks much better then at any point we have have seen him since he was with the Wizards. In addition both Brown and surprisinlgy Gibson looks to have bright futures. My mind is conflicted as I'm leaning to thinking Gibson might have a bigger impact then Brown this season because he is a better ballhandler and most importantly he is the only person on the entire roster who seems to be able to stay in front of quick PG"s consistently. Neither Wesley, Snow, nor Jones has a chance against guys like Rondo, Telfair, and TJ Ford

Re: Raptors vs. Cavs | Preseason Game #5 | 10/18/2006
I think it's interesting because in the summer league, Brown looked better than Gibson hands down. Now it's flipping the other way but I think it may just show both guys are even. The edge Gibson has is since he's more of a point guard than Brown is, Daniel can be the guy who starts plays, decide when he'll shoot and pass and go from there. As more of a combo/shooting guard, Brown is more dependent than Gibson is on his teammates to set him up and get things going.

Not just LeBron. We didn't have LeBron, Marshall or Hughes in that game. And, we played pretty much the entire second half without any threat to score inside (which is never ever going to happen during the season). It was tough for Sasha, Brown, Gibson etc to try to carry the scoring loan in that type of situation.
