Drew Gooden
Hello Cavs fans!
I, and many other NBA fans, where hoping you could pull off the upset... but it doesnt look like its going to happen now.
Just curious if any of you know... what is the deal with that patch of hair on the back of D.Gooden?
I'm surpised to see the Cav board so dead. Where are the Cav fans during this moment of franchise history!?!?
 to Lebron and your Cavs.

The Ducktail: This is the hairdo (or hairdon't) Drew currently sports. "That was a big '80s thing back when I was growing up in the Bay (Area)," Gooden explains.

Re: Drew Gooden
Drew Gooden needs to get rid of the patch of hair on the back of his head. He looks like a complete and utter moron. We're not in the 80's anymore, Drew.

Re: Drew Gooden
I actually kind of like Drew Gooden. He seems like one of those guys that's cool with whatever you do, doesn't care about a thing, won't judge you. You'd almost have to be that way going around with a haircut like that.
I feel bad that his offensive talents are rarely recognized. He can really be a dope on defense sometimes, but he's one of the better offensive talents on the Cavs. And he's severely underused offensively. He's so moody, I don't know why Mike Brown doesn't call plays for him. He might be our second best scorer right now, but we go to Z in the post more often for some reason. His baby hook is automatic, and he's good out to about 18-20 feet.
Not only that, but when he's scoring points he tends to focus more on defense. It's pretty much a win-win situation, yet we don't really use him to his strengths. Not uncommon on this team, I suppose.

Re: Drew Gooden
He could do some damage offensively if the Cavs actually ran plays for him consistently. But as with most of the Cavs players(who one might add are all pretty good offensively on their own) they basically have to play to the lowest common denominator to run Mike Brown's offensive schemes.

Re: Drew Gooden
I've always liked Drew Gooden...I just hate the patch on the back of his head. But to each his own, I guess. He's been a big help for the Cavs in these playoffs, and really, all season long.

Re: Drew Gooden
On another site, someone said that it was the patch of hair that fell off of the top of Rasheed's head. Drew picked it up and glued it to his head for luck.
It sounded amusing...
