If we have shooters, do we really need a PG?

It seems like when people are able to make shots (Devin Brown, Gibson, Jones, Z) and mind you I'm talking OPEN shots then this offense has looked perfectly fine with Lebron running the show

It works fine if the shooters are shooters. Obviously in the past we've been let down by so-called shooters who couldn't make those shots to make teams pay. It's just about consistency with the shooters. Like what Nash has in Phoenix. Guys who will just knock down open shots all day. Because then Lebron doesn't have to be the finisher. But with no shooters, then Lebron has to be the finisher, which then we need a point guard.

The only one of our "shooters" I am confident in is Boobie.

When he shoots I feel about 75% confident it's going in. Everyone else your just rolling the dice

Re: If we have shooters, do we really need a PG?

lol, want to switch Kapono with Pavlovic? I always thought Kapono as a scrub, but watching him on the Raptors these days leaves me no doubt that he is possibly the best, if not top 3 shooter in the league. It's almost automatic when he's wide open. It's a shame that we don't have anyone on the Raptors that can draw attention like Lebron can, Kapono actually has to put the ball on the floor when he plays for Toronto.

Kapono used to play here. I believe we let him walk to protect Luke Jackson.

Goooooooo Jim Paxson!

lol, and we had Luke Jackson last year and waived him this year because we acquired Kapono. Revenge is sweet for Jason.

What is Luke Jackson up to these days? Is he in Europe yet? What a waste. That pick could have been Josh Smith.

We aren't likely to get another top 10 pick in the Lebron regime either. Thanks Paxson
