What's that you say LeBron?
From the Chicago Tribune, Sam Smith interview:
Quote:
|
"We're not that good. That's what everyone talks about. We beat Detroit. We didn't beat Detroit; Detroit beat themselves. Washington was missing key guys, and New Jersey didn't play up to their capabilities. Enough of the Cavs now. You all got me a little upset."
|
I don't think LeBron has been pleased with how the management has handled the roster around him, but never has he publicly made statements like this. Not exactly the way I'd want the superstar speaking to the media mid-season...the "experts" are already starting the Kobe comparisons as far as his ego, this is only going to add fuel to that fire.

Re: What's that you say LeBron?
I'm glad that he's speaking out. Management does need to make something happen. Look at what Atlanta just sent to get Mike Bibby, you mean to tell me Ferry couldn't have did a similar deal? This team is decent but it could and should be waaay better, King James deserves better.

This is a totally miswritten article. Lebron was sarcastic in the interview, dont take it seriously its already been confirmed on realgm that it was skewed and out of context.

Exactly. That article is bull**** and what's bad is it's being posted around a lot of forums and some people are taking it literally. Jesus.

Everything sounds much funnier when taken out of context.

Re: What's that you say LeBron?
LeBron has always backed his team...would he have like for the cavs to get bibby or kidd, yeah...who wouldnt...as long as you have lebron you have a chance to win every game...cavs are trying to make a deal they just have nothing to trade...they wont make a deal but they will make noise at the end of the year...

Article or not, Cleveland needs to do something.

Re: What's that you say LeBron?
Cleveland needs to not panic and make the best move, not the most immediate. Waiting till this summer will help the team a lot more than doing a trade now just to do it. If we get our current team healthy, we can get back to the finals. Lebron's that good. We will need to upgrade the team in the Summer though if we ever want to win a title.

Larry Hughes playing well is like acquiring a new player.

True.
I guess people may be overdoing the Cleveland needs to do something talks. Lebron is still young. She's dead on with the best move not an immediate move talk.

Re: What's that you say LeBron?
Remember the last time the Cavs made a panick move they traded a first round pick for Jiri Welsch.

lol, don't remind me.
What the Cavs need to do more than anything right now is get healthy. We're damn good when healthy.
