We have the worst luck.
Quote:
According to a source, the Cavaliers were close to acquiring Mike Bibby in a package that would have sent Drew Gooden, Ira Newble and Shannon Brown to Sacramento.
The Kings decided to turn their attention strictly to expiring contracts.

on the realgm ticker today. damnit if we got bibby for those pieces we'd be so much more dangerous esp with larry playing well

Re: We have the worst luck.
LOL just as i said that I read this rumor
Quote:
The Cavaliers are said to be in heated discussions that would result in an 8-player block-buster trade between the Cavaliers and Memphis.
The Cavaliers would send Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall, Shannon Brown, Cedric Simmons, Dwayne Jones and 2008 1st-round pick to Memphis, for Mike Miller, Kyle Lowry, and Brian Cardinal.
The Clippers and Nuggets are also interested in Miller and Lowry, and were considered favorites, but neither were willing to take on the contract of Cardinal.
If the Nuggets and Clippers refuse to take Cardinal, then there is a good chance that the Cavalier may complete this deal.

Re: We have the worst luck.
Well if that rumor that i listed above happens i will dance all around my house for days. Ferry would redeem himself in my book and we would go up a notch with a consistant scorer and the biggest starting lineup in the league (larry/miller/lebron/gooden/z)

Re: We have the worst luck.
That is a deal I would part with our first round pick for. We give up none of our core, none of our important players at all really. And get Mike Miller.
Mike Miller is an intriguing piece. I'm not sure if he's not become one of the more underrated players in the league. He would seem to be a good fit for Lebron as he was a good fit for Tracy Mcgrady all those years ago. He pretty much has always played well with other stars.

He's sorta like Rajon Rondo. Great defender, good at penetration, not much of a jump shooter. He hustles like hell though, and is ultra aggressive.

Next summer we send all our expiring contracts for this fellow, coming back to Ohio like he was supposed to instead of Larry. ?

Re: We have the worst luck.
Wow. Miller is exactly what Cleveland needs. Lowry is everything they need at the one with Boobie. What a great trade. As a fan I hope for it, but as a Pistons homer I'll go the other way

Re: We have the worst luck.
I think I would Prefer Miller & Lowry to Redd. Redd is going to cost a lot!

Re: We have the worst luck.
Yeah. Miller and lowry for what we are offering in the above rumor would be a total steal. Were giving up 0 rotation players except for like ira (who would not have pt if we were healthy) and donyell (sucks)

Re: We have the worst luck.
Lowry get's them a playmaking one that can split with Gibson. An offensive/defensive 1-2 punch. Mike Miller would be perfect catching outlet passes. He isn't that great at creating for himself, but he wouldn't need to do a lot. He would be playing with the King.
