Re: smith and wallace?
Wallace has been okay. He's our fourth best big man though.
Joe Smith has been incredible. He's the perfect fit for Lebron and this team.

Re: smith and wallace?
I agree on both points. I only wish that Wallace would get minutes according to how good he is.
I think ideally, I would start AV and Z, with Joe coming off the bench first and then Ben to fill in.

Re: smith and wallace?
Agree with the above. Joe Smith is way better than I thought and meshes well with Lebron.
Ben Wallace had 1 great game, and has been relatively mediocre since. He looked alot better next to Z though and has had back problems, so prob too early to fully judge him.

Re: smith and wallace?
Rumor is that Ben Wallace had back problems his whole time in Chicago

Re: smith and wallace?
Back problems tend not to just go away, so I wouldn't doubt it. It's not a huge deal if he doesn't do anything, so long as Mike Brown isn't playing him too much. I like how Dwyne Jones has developed. I actually like him a little more than Wallace right now.
Z/AV/Joe/DJ is my favored rotation, unless Wallace finds the fountain of youth.

Provided Wallace's back is fine (like it was in his debut) and he can play alongside Big Z, I like Wallace more than Jones.

Not my sentiments at all. I'm sorry, but from what I've seen of him, Dwayne Jones is simply not NBA material right now.
I like Wallace way more than Jones. Wallace can't shoot, can't finish, can't hit FTs, but he has a presence, defensive instincts and rebounding ability which should do wonders when paired with Z in the playoffs...we'll see.

Re: smith and wallace?
Wallace had a good game yesterday.
But I really liked how Jones has developed. He's gotten better as the season has progressed. He can get to the line, make free throws. He needs to get a little more refined at his shotblocking. But he goes after every rebound on either end. I like how hard he works. Very eager to please.

Hmm the problem with Jones is he has hands of stone. You just can't have guys like that next to LBJ because he is always firing passes inside. He also lacks court awareness.
That said I would keep him as a 5th big. He is mobile and as you say brings the effort. I doubt he gets much better though.
