Who do you want the Cavs to bring in??

PJ Brown would be a nice addition if he is the backup to Boozer, not if he is a starter.

Andre Miller to come back, but I am dreaming on that.

Antonio Daniels wouldn't be bad, but I would rather have Kenny Anderson just because of his hard nosed D.

PJ's cool, I don't think he'd start.

Kenny Anderson would be fun to watch, but I think he'd want to many minutes. We need a back-up point guard because Wagner will be getting a lot of minutes at the small guard.

Same (minutes) for Daniels. He'd be a nice fit because being big he could play with Wagner easier. Problem is anytime they were on the floor, two of these three would have to be sitting: James/Miles/Davis.

Kenny would probably want minutes, but we don't know who Silas wants to play PG, James or Wagner. I don't think it will be Wags, just because he had no success to do it last year and all this talk about James being a point-foward.

Silas says James is his point guard for now.

If Kenny Anderson would come here and play a backup role that would be a major coup. You could start Wagner in the backcourt with James, and have Ricky play the 3 on offense. Then on Defense Wags guards the point, James the 3 and Ricky the 2. And then you sub in Kenny Anderson for Wagner and boom James is your 3, or if you bring Miles in you can have him be a 2.

Talk about fun to coach with that kind of versatility.

as far as the rest. PJ Brown sounds almost like a sure thing already. He would be excellent in giving us VERY solid front court depth. Whether he starts or not, having him and Boozer to rotate on the front line will help out tremendously. The Cavs don't really have much front court depth(that can actually come out and play).

why?
PJ Brown doesn't play shooting guard or small forward. So I doubt he'll have a problem with their minutes at that position. And he knows Paul Silas's system.

Kenny Anderson also knows Paul Silas. Albiet briefly. But I fail to see how moving Miles or Davis has anything to do with signing either of these players.

I was talking about undrafted free agents

I won't get started on the absurdity of trading Davis for a 15 minute per night veteran.
I'll leave it at this - everyone we currently have can coexist.

The veteran you're describing is a good idea at both PF and PG, but we should find him in the FA market rather than through a trade. PJ Brown sounds like the PF answer, hopefully we'll find an equivelant at PG.

Now that Keon is with the kings The logical choices would be Anderson and brown. You could sign those guys to two years deals and have three contracts expire in 04-05 and can pursue a big name free agent. By this time LeBron will more then likely have established himself as a force in this league and in the next couple of years when his contract expires you can max him out under bird rule regardless of your cap situation.

I've heard Daryl Armstrong's name thrown around on the radio .. I don't know if he is a free agent or not. If he is available, I say GET HIM. He can run a team and he is a great defender.

Darryl would be a good guy to pick up for two years as well but imo anderson would be better.

I'm guessing most people didn't 'get' that.

Armstrong would be a nice guy to have defensively.

Darryl Armstrong seemed to be going downhill fast from what I've seen of him this past year or two.

Still, for a year or so he wouldn't be a bad mentor... he's a smart guy and he plays hard.
