Mike D'Antoni
Supposedly he's getting fired by the Suns. Would be a great upgrade on Mike Brown, and it would put Lebron in a system he was born to play in.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
Also Avery Johnson was fired. Didn't Danny play with Avery on the Spurs? i could see him replacing Mike Brown too.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
At this point, Mike Brown isn't getting fired. All Cleveland fans can hope for is that a good assistant can be found. That said, both of the men mentioned above are head coach quality and seeing them as a possible assistant for Mike Brown is hard.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
I think the only way Mike Brown saves his job is if they win the title this year, or at least get close to it. The team has regressed this year, and needs a new direction this summer. D'Antoni is a once in a lifetime opportunity to do just that.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
I agree with Remy - I don't see Mike B. getting fired.
The Cavs underachieve in the regular season but in the playoffs somehow Mike Brown always seems to get the job done. I don't know if it's just Lebron raising his level of play or what, but as long as Mike B. keeps winning in the playoffs he won't get fired.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
Brown isn't going anywhere.
I don't want Avery or D'antoni. I want there former players.
Get me Dirk. Dallas's window is closed - there old (terry, stack, Kidd), and Dirk is past 30 now. Give me Dirk and all give you all the expirings you need to get out of those AWFUL Terry and Dampier deals.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
D'Antoni as an assistant could install the offense you guys wanted so badly!

If he wouldn't mind A) Being an assistant coach and B) Being under Mike Brown, then sign me up.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
Please bring D'Antoni as an assitant. Make him the highest paid assistant in the league. I just can't handle an offensive philosophy which is simply offensive

Re: Mike D'Antoni
I can't deal with Lebron isolation ball anymore either.
Maybe on the game winning possession, whatever. But time after time down the stretch you run the same isolation with the wiz trapping? Pathetic.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
Mike Brown is the master of the W.L.D. offense.. WATCH LEBRON DRIBBLE. The other 4 players stand still and watch Bron dribble for 20 seconds and then try to go 1 on 4 and score. Avery Johnson would be an upgrade over Brown any day. D'Antoni would have to get different players for the Cavs and also be able to play rough halfcourt ball when needed. It will be needed in the Eastern conference.

Re: Mike D'Antoni
D'Antoni could go to Dallas (RealGM story) or Chicago (ESPN: PTI). I'm sure he's going to be a head coach somewhere.
