Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

We pretty much had our way with the Hawks but that was before they got Bibby.

Boston was Jekyll and Hyde: we looked really good against them in our first game but blew chunks in our last game.

Re: Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

I would of course prefer to play the Hawks because I honestly don't think we can beat the Celtics. But crazier things have happened. I'm just worried about our offensive execution, which has been more than suspect at times during this past series.

Re: Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

Well maybe what happened in Game 5 will be the nail in the coffin of that iso offense. Have to say Game 2, Game 6, and almost all of Game 4 till the end, the offense has looked a lot better. A lot of it is Boobie coming back to form. I wonder what our record would have been if he didn't get hurt: he really is critical to the team.

Plus if West and Boobie continue to perform that really allows us to keep Lebron off the ball and away from the 3 point line double teams.

Well if it's Boston, just get to the free throw line and try to get as many transition buckets as possible. I am hoping you guys tear them a new one if it's Boston. Otherwise, nevermind this post.

Yeah if we get Boston: I hope Brown decides to go small and just push the ball. With West and Boobie in we should be able to speed things up.

Re: Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

I agree with Brandname, not sure we can match up with Boston the way the Hawks are. We don't have the horses.

Also I'd question our offensive execution against their defensive scheme. Boston definitely has some flaws that are being exposed though, they are a jump shooting team alot like Detroit was/is, which makes them somewhat vulnerable in the playoffs.

They key to beating Boston is to keep them in a tight game where they're forced to execute down the stretch. If we could manage to keep the games close, we'd have a shot.

If we got ATL, I think they are a good upcoming team but I can't see us losing a 7-game series WITH homecourt against them. Lebron has historically put up numbers on them and we have a size advantage in the frontcourt.

Re: Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

I think Lebron is a Celtics killer. I think Delonte will be up to play Rondo. And that we have a better chance against them than Atlanta.

I think Joe Johnson is a problem. A huge problem. And they have like a hundred 3's they can throw at Lebron. Just in waves. Long athletic small forwards. It's like 3/4ths of their roster.

Re: Atl vs Boston: how do we match up.

I think you're crazy. I would much much rather play Atlanta than Celtics, even though I think Atlanta is on fire right now. Celtics are so good at home I would never want to play a game 7 at the Garden. But I think we match up fine with either team, I'm excited to see who wins tomorrow. go Hawks.
