Predict # of Cavs wins for April
Wow... a brutal schedule for the end of the season. The schedule makers either hate us, or figured we'd be out of it!
8 games in 14 days. 4 Home, 4 Road, but 3 back-to-back games in 9 days! 7 of the 8 games vs teams in or fighting for playoff spots. Ugh.
Fri., 4/2- at Milw
Sat., 4/3- vs GS
Tues., 4/6- vs Toronto
Wed., 4/7- at Memphis
Fri., 4/9- at Miami
Sat., 4/10- vs Miami
Mon., 4/12- vs Milw
Wed., 4/14- at NY
How many games can we win?

I'm gonna go with my heart, rather than my head.
I say the Cavs go 6-2. (But I'm not sure if that will be enough to get us the 8th spot!)

Overall: 6-2, leaving the Cavs with a 38-44 record for the season
Its a tough schedule to finish with. Hopefully Boston and NY will drop a few games so the Cavs get the 8th playoff spot .

Sadly, this will in all likelihood leave a team that I thought was a sure thing for the playoffs on the outside looking in.

5 and 3, I'm not as excited as I was at the end of last month about the team. Unfortunately I don't think that will be enough for them to get back into the playoff picture.

They really blew their playoff spot during the begining of hte season when they REALLY struggled, but then again the team needed to get chemistry together and Lebron needed to get adjusted.

Unfortunately, Clev underperform all of our guesses....
they went 3-5 in April.
Here is the final rundown:
Nov 4-13
Dec 6-9 (traded Ricky Davis to Boston Dec 16th. Clev was 6-18 prior to the trade, finished rest of the season 29-29)
Jan 7-7
Feb 7-6
Mar 8-7
Apr 3-5
(35-47)
Not an ending we'd all hoped for, but us doubling our win total had to meet or exceed most pre-season expectations.... plus, with the weak records in the East, we got a taste of a run at the playoffs... and very few expected that to happen too.
The foundation has been set. We got our solid core of 4 under contract for next season. Goal - playoffs from day 1 of training camp. The excitement is back, and the great thing about it, is this team plays the game the right way. Solid rebounding. Good team passing. Winning at home. Often playing the elite teams strong. No gimmicks. I like it.
