I don't see how somebody had him as 3rd among the rookies. Doesn't add up for me. I could see people voting for Carmello in front of LeBron but unless it was a writer in Miami I can't see Wade getting a 2nd infront of LeBron.

In fact I can't really see anybody voting for Bosh, Hinrich or Daniels ahead of Wade.

I have no problem with that.... any other year and Carmello is the run-away ROY winner. One thing that some sportswriters said was gonna hurt Anthony, and probably did, was the little pouting session he did where he didn't want to go back in cuz his teammates said he shot too much. That probably had some effect on the voting, but co-ROY... he had a great season too.

I cannot believe that he won it! I think 'Melo should have won it. The Nuggets just played better, and had more energy. I think that one cause was because of Anthony. 'Melo was WAYYYY above LeBron for that award. I think the NBA studios made a mistake!

You know what I think? Individual awards should be based on individual performances. Why should Anthony's teammates help him win an individual award? There is NO way to determine what Anthony himself did except by looking at stats and his own game. If Anthony was so much more helpful than LeBron would have been, then you would think it would show up somewhere in his numbers. It doesnt. LeBron's numbers are better all-around, and you know it.

4) "I think the NBA studios made a mistake". You should not even be on this site actually. "NBA studios" doesnt vote on the award. Reporters do. Maybe you can go study some basketball and logic before your next post. Right now, they are at the very bottom of basketballboards.net.
