I think Holmes is probably a little better based on their tapes. Lowery just looks like he runs over people because he's so huge. RU could use all the DT's it can get though, so both of them are definitely big (no pun intended) priorities this year. Our biggest DT as of now is red-shirt freshman Wayne Thomas at 280 or so lbs. But he's currently second on the depth chart, meaning our starting DT's would be Pete Tverdov (265 lbs) and Jamaal Westerman (260 lbs) if the season were to start today. Westerman has been our best DE the past two seasons, but was moved inside this spring because we have so many other talented DE's. I'm hoping Thomas can secure his starting position at DT in the fall so Westerman moves back outside. Because if he doesn't, our D-line is going to be ridiculously small. Again.

Incoming freshman Scott Vallone might see some time at DT, too. He's supposedly bulked up quite a bit and Schiano has had great things to say about him. They're expecting big things from him.
