Re: Heisman Thread 2011
The only arguments you can make for Richardson are "the eye test" (which is bullshit, that has nothing to do with who the best player is) and the "Most Valuable Player" (most important to his team).
Tell me ATL, since you voted Richardson #1, how big of a dropoff is there to Eddie Lacy? Do they go 10-2 or 9-3 with Lacy as the starter? Of course not. Lacy averaged 7.5 yards per carry to Richarson's 6.0. |

Your beloved SEC eye test is flawed, for an easy example, see 2006 when the "eye test" said Ohio State and Michigan were clearly #1 and #2. |

So you would give Keenum a 3rd place vote before Luck or Barkley then? 5,100 yards 45 TD's 5 INT's his stats are exponentially better. But he doesn't pass the "eye test" |

I only brought up 2006 because everyone in America was convinced OSU and Michgan were the two best teams in the country. It was obvious. They both got crushed in their bowls. |

Re: Heisman Thread 2011
They played roughly the same level of competition which is to say soft.

Re: Heisman Thread 2011
RG III officially wins it, 405 first place votes, 1647 total points.
Andrew Luck has 267 first place votes and was in second by about 200 points. Surprisingly, they showed the voting breakdown by region and RG III won the southeast by a 100 points over Richardson.
