Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
texas got penn state's kicker. should be a pretty big deal since texas likely was going to be relying on a true freshman there.
texas also offered their first 2014 players today. that's a huge change from texas. offers basically never went out until junior day with a very few exceptions of players who were coming in to be the leader of a class. will be interesting to see how this goes.

4 star (#75 overall rivals) DE Wyatt Teller commits to VT.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Okay, this is getting ****ed up now. How is Penn State holding this 2013 class together? Hackenberg and Brenneman know that even if they are first round picks their team is going to be dogshit, right? Jimmy Clausen went 3-9, 7-6, and 6-6 as a starting QB with elite skill position talent. Go somewhere else you morons.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
that's a pretty good get. feel like texas could have gotten him to commit sooner had they actually offered him on his first visit.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Eh.. if Chizik is fired, some of those recruits may flip. If I'm Auburn, I keep Chizik one more year just to keep their recruiting class together. lol

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Morris has potential, but he is raw. I was thinking that same thing, but I've read a lot of disappointing reports on him. He had Mono this year so I'll give him a pass, but he folded when he played his toughest competition the past couple of years (toughest competition in Michigan). He is going to need 2-3 years before he is ready, but he will start as a RS Freshman after Gardner graduates.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Max Browne is better than Morris.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Morris is going to be like a Jimmy Clausen, will struggle early, peak later. Is he Clausen talented? No, but hopefully for Michigan he offsets that by winning some games. Their defense will save them but '13-'14 could be a rough couple of years for UM.
