Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Looks like Georgia has a strong crop, but Nkemdiche and Foster are going to Alabama. Hopefully, we can continue to recruit NC, SC, FL strong.
#1 Robert Nkemdiche #2 Reuben Foster #33 Montravius Adams #36 Trey Johnson #65 Tray Matthews #73 Isaac Rochell #80 Johnathan McCrary #88 Johnny O'Neal #91 Carl Lawson #97 Demarcus Robinson #120 Kelsey Griffin #137 Tyren Jones #162 Shamire Devine #187 Tyshon Dye #217 Carlos Burse #220 Jeremi Hall #235 Nigel Bowden #243 Brandon Kublanow #249 Brice Ramsey EDIT: 19 Georgia players in the Rivals 250. Thought the number is high, but it really isn't. 18 in 2012, 18 in 2011, 21 in 2010. It's just there are more guys at the top than in year's past. Last edited by ATLien; 02-09-2012 at 11:17 AM. |

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Shit yeah! From what I've read on our message boards this is a really good instate Wisconsin class, but it doesn't look like a lot of guys have hit it big on the recruiting services websites. Excellent...

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Well, Kevin Olsen is this year's front runner for completely over-rated NJ prospect. It seems like rivals always has one "wtf" ranking for NJ each year, and he's it so far. No where near a 4 star.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
the first texas junior day is this weekend. should come out of it with a great start to another really good class. texas is only going to be able to take somewhere in the 18-20 range this year though, so that is probably going to hurt the class rank a bit this year.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Recruiting related: Don Bosco's program is about to turn to shit. Everyone is leaving. Jabril Peppers and Keyon Washington (two of the top sophs in the state) have already transferred to Paramus Catholic. No one really knows wtf is going on, but it's like a mass exodus right now. Something big behind the scenes.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
texas didn't get any commits from the first junior day this year which was kinda strange, but they also didn't offer any questionable talent. it was all top 100 type guys getting offers and it's likely that most of them end up committing to texas at some point(i think 10 offers went out in total).
wr jake oliver just committed to texas today. his film is pretty funny. he obviously has his receiving highlights but there are also a lot of clips of him just manhandling guys as a blocker.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
OL Laremy Tunsil (#3 overall) has UGA and Florida as his top two. We definitely need help on the OL, but I kinda hate that we're relying so much on out of state recruiting to keep us afloat.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Excited about the start for Michigan with Shane Morris and Dymonte Thomas. Out front or in the lead group for other top guys too like Ty Isaac, Jake Butt, Laquon Treadwell, E.J. Levenberry, Logan Tuley-Tillman, Chris Fox, and Henry Poggi.

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Eli Woodard to tOSU. No surprise. I think Woodard has been a tOSU lean since he was born lol. Kid's ridiculous (but Greg Webb is better).

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Morris is awesome, he is the best QB prospect since Barkley to me at least at this stage. Any chance Dymonte goes to OSU? Or is he solid?

Re: Official 2013 Recruiting Thread
Dual threat QB Tyrone Swoopes to Texas. He had offers from TCU, Baylor, LSU, Bama, OU, Oregon, etc. Apparently his HS coach said that in their phone call, Saban only let him (Swoopes) get about 4 words in.
If Connor Brewer works out then he might be sitting for a while, but he reportedly grew up a Longhorns fan which bodes well for Mack Brown and co.
