I like Cameron and LaTech thats why put him there. People might think im crazy but the guy has LaTech undefeated and in the top 20 and if having a really good season. Even if he doesnt play great teams

are you really impressed by a&m's schedule? yeah, sec west. cool.

if he does something against alabama, then we can talk about a potential trip to new york. at the moment he's played two actual good teams and not exactly done a whole lot against them.

At Mississippi State is a tougher game than any Braxton Miller has faced. And it's not JUST his schedule, his stats are mind blowing too. You just hate Aggies because you are rational and unfortunately have to deal with them.

mississippi state's best win is against tennessee. how good are they really?

you say sec west like it means something when all it really means this year is that you play two top 5 teams, one question mark, and three bad teams. that's nothing impressive.

and i really don't hate a&m. i actually like several of their current players and their skill position recruiting has been really good lately. they're going to have a pretty good offense for a while if they can fix the problem of having all their qbs regress as upperclassmen.

like i said, he shouldn't be in the heisman discussion. he has great stats against questionable competition and questionable stats against good teams. if he does something against alabama, we can talk about it. until then, i don't see it even with some all his rushing numbers.

Re: Heisman Thread 2012

I don't know what any of that has to do with winning a Heisman really. Manziel is going to New York in all likelihood. He almost certainly doesn't win, but none of that stuff will have much of anything to do with it.

Re: Heisman Thread 2012

I dunno, 30 TD's for an all-purpose QB like Klein is kinda weak (Cam had 51 in 2010 for comparison's sake). I hope Barner steals it.

Re: Heisman Thread 2012

Cam played 14 games in 2010. Klein is at 9 right now.

Klein: 3.22 TDs/game
Cam: 3.64 TDs/game

Come on man. Klein also missed a half last week that would have almost certainly been 1-2 more TDs.

Klein is also at 1,875 passing yards and 698 rushing yards. Cam finished with 2,854 and 1,473.

Re: Heisman Thread 2012

That would be a much better argument if Cam was not in the NFL. Klein doesn't have be better than Newton. He doesn't have to be better than RG3. ****ing Eric Crouch won a Heisman. Klein needs to win games and get his team to the title game. He does that and continues with the season that he's having and he wins.

Re: Heisman Thread 2012

Its a Klein/Barner race to me, with a slight edge to Klein. I think at least one of those two teams will finish unbeaten. If Oregon is 13-0, Barner will win it, if K-State is unbeaten I think Klein gets it. This is a weak year for Heisman candidates though. Marquise Lee is a solid 3rd, but outside of that people are reaching with some of these guys. I mean Manti Te'O was a top 2-3 Heisman candidate for the past month and he hasn't even been close to having a Heisman level year. Its a Klein/Barner race, really no need to discuss anyone after those two.

I agree its weak thats why im hoping this year is when we see a guy like Jordan Lynch or Colby Cameron in NY. Sure they arent gonna win but seeing them two guys in NY would be huge for both of their school and they deserve it

How many second halves has Barner missed because his team is so much better than everyone? Ridiculous.
