Player position is where they are listed on the official depth chart which are freely available on the school Rivals site.

16 Roster spots. You can use these however you see fit.

2 Redshirt spots. These won’t be used until next season, but you have the ability to carry the players you draft in the spring for 1 year without using a roster spot, provided you don’t start them. If you start a guy who has been in a redshirt spot, you burn the redshirt and must cut someone.

Scoring for Offensive Players: 1 point for every 25 passing yards, 1 point for every 10 rushing/receiving yards, 4 points for a passing TD, 6 points for a rushing, receiving, or return TD, -2 for an INT or fumble lost. No points for return yards.

Scoring for Defensive Players: 1 point for every 7 return yards, 12 points for a TD, 10 points for a sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery, and INT. 2.5 points for a tackle for loss that isn't a sack. If they play on offense they will also accumulate those points as if they were offensive players using the offensive player scoring.

2012 standings will be based solely on points. 2013 and going forward will probably be head to head in some form yet to be decided. There also might be divisions. This is TBA.

Draft picks in the normal draft each fall will be awarded in reverse order of finish. In a dynasty league a pure snake draft is against the principle of parity, so the first 2 rounds will be standard (A-B-C-D, A-B-C-D), followed by a snake for the rest of the 16 rounds. This means the worst team would get the top pick in the first 3 rounds before getting the last pick in the 4th round.

In the future there will be some kind of toilet bowl playoffs where the winners (not the losers) of those games will get the better picks in order to discourage tanking.

There will be a transaction deadline of 11:59pm Central Time on November 1. No pickups and no trades. This is so a last place team can't drop all their seniors and pickup young players.

Everyone is obligated to play a strong team every week; I will accept protests about this and as commissioner (since I'll be tallying up the points and making the rules) I reserve the right to change the draft position of a team found to be tanking. I won't take away picks, but I'll slide you from 1 to 7 or 8 if it's really severe and obvious. I will err on the side of believing that you are just playing the matchups, and tanking for a better playoff matchup (as opposed to tanking for a better draft position) will not be punished. I think that is fair gamesmanship.

Every player on your roster at the end of the season that retain FBS eligibility will remain on your roster going into the next season. 1 week before the opening week everyone will submit a 16 man roster, cutting everyone else on their team.

The draft will take place 2 weeks before the opening weekend every year (hopefully) and will contain 16 rounds. You are allowed to abstain picks in the draft. For one week you will be allowed to carry more than 16 players on your roster, between the draft and the deadline to cut down to 16 players. I will publish all the released players, and allow a waiver period. Waivers will be in reverse order of points from the previous year (not always the draft order) and will open at 12:01am on Tuesday before the season starts. I will send the waivers through on midday Wednesday at some point.

If we add expansion teams they will get the middle pick in each round with extra picks tacked on to the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th round; they will finish in the 12th round while the rest of us go the full 16. It's an advantage, but it should hopefully give them a chance in the first year despite not having any keepers.

The only players eligible to be drafted are at the 5 major AQ conferences and Notre Dame. If we want to add BYU or another conference, that will be submitted to a league vote with 50%+1 of the owners required to agree.

As long as a player does not exhaust his eligibility, if you want to use the roster spot you can hold onto him in perpetuity. You can hold onto Cam Newton at Blinn if you are convinced he will come back and be a star, you just can’t start him and get points for his JuCo stats. If a player transfers to a non-BCS FBS school you can start that player and count his stats every week because he will be grandfathered into the league, however you have to pick him up or draft him while he’s on the roster of one of the eligible AQ teams.

Finally, at the end of the Spring Football time we will have a 2 round draft for incoming freshmen. These players can be treated as regular players and played each week, but they can also be redshirted for a year as long as they are never played. The order will be the same as the draft order and expansion teams will get the middle pick in each round.

I posted my lineup and a drop and add in the google groups. Ignore the part about Stefon Diggs as I didnt see that Jeremy drafted him.

Also just to help out. Michael Ford is academically ineligible to play as of right now. Appeals process ongoing.

I'm not sure what my strategy should be for games that will obviously be over by the half. I guess QB's and RB's can still make up for it, but I'm thinking for receiver you would want to sit them that week.

I think the Georgia stats don't jive with the ESPN stats, and am now very confused.
