The feeling is that Wisconsin should roll Oregon State, but I'm nervous after last week.

Very interested in seeing what the new members of the SEC do. Florida will not beat A&M and Missouri will play Georgia really close.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 2

The loser of Mississippi State-Auburn will be on the warm seat.. and if Florida loses to Texas A&M.. it's just Muschamp's second year, but the Florida AD doesn't play around.

I feel like Georgia wins easily at full strength, but we have so many starters injured or suspended (8 starters missed last week and another got hurt during the game) so who knows.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 2

I really needed the Louisiana Tech game to see what aTm is going to do, and even though I like Michael I really have no gauge as to how he will do. I did not want to start Christine Michael against a Muschamp D to welcome them to the SEC.

If they can't beat Texas A&M I'm thinking they won't beat Tennessee either. Still have Mizzou, Georgia, South Carolina, FSU, LSU on the schedule. Heck, at Vandy isn't a sure thing. Things could get ugly in Gainesville.

I am hoping a Gators collapse will drive down WLOCP prices. I have faith in Gator ineptitude!

Florida needs a HC who can recruit by name yet still coach well.

Hopefully, we don't have any problems vs Austin Peay.

I'm hoping to see our starters pulled before halftime and get out of the game without any injuries. I honestly don't even care how good any of our guys look, how much can you really gain beating the shit out of possibly the worst FCS team? Just don't hurt yourself and be ready to go next week when the real season starts.

Thanks a lot West Virginia.

Las Vegas has made it official: Florida State will be hosting one of the biggest mismatches in college football history on Saturday.

Cantor Gaming, which sets lines for sportsbooks at seven Las Vegas casinos, was the first to post a line on FSU's game with lowly Savannah State, pegging the Seminoles as 70.5 point favorites, the largest college football spread ever.

"In 10 years it's the highest number I've ever put up," said Mike Colbert, vice president of risk management at Cantor Gaming. Cantor sets sportsbook lines for The Venetian, The Cosmopolitan, The Palms, The M, The Palazzo, Tropicana and the Hard Rock in Las Vegas.

Colbert said that if the point spread was based strictly on talent between the two teams, it would be significantly higher. To start the 2012 season, Savannah State lost 84-0 at No. 19 Oklahoma State. OSU also pulled its starters well before halftime.

"To be honest, we actually would make the game closer to 80, but obviously when you're dealing with a number this big, you're not just dealing with the teams on the field," he said. "We know if Florida State wants to play their guys, they could probably win their game by 100."
Again, thanks West Virginia.

lol yeah, obviously was joking and veiled JMU reference too. I don't know, of course I obviously hope for health (you guys already got stung by it with Jenkins) but I want to see them execute, no mistakes, no sloppy play and dominate. In a sense, I don't mind seeing them rip a team apart like they should for 2-3 qrters or parts of 3rd in the process.

Right, WV pulled out? Damn, Inbreds.

I forgot that was the same team that lost 84-0 last week.

I saw this tweet about that spread.

Florida State is a 70 1/2-point favorite over Savannah St. Who sat in the meeting and said, "Ten TDs isn't enough. We need the extra half."

Hahahaha, Paul Chryst's decision to leave Madison does not appear to be a good one.

He can re-join Bielema's staff when UGA makes its coaching change.

Went 3-3 in highlight games last week. Georgia Tech failed me like they always do, should have known better than to go with them. Paul Johnson should be on a hot seat if it was a football school.

Going with UGA, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, LSU.

Keep going back and forth on Missouri. Georgia fans are underrating their defense and overrating their offense. Still a mediocre 7-5 team in 2011. Franklin is not Cam Newton or anything. Georgia was better or equal in every offensive category without needing a spread offense.
