Re: BBF Top 10 Poll Thread
1. Oregon
2. Alabama 3. Kansas State 4. Notre Dame 5. Georgia 6. Clemson 7. Florida State 8. Ohio State (yuck) 9. Louisville 10. LSU Can't quite put TAMU in yet because they very recently lost at home to LSU and have the same record. I'll put them ahead of Florida though because that UF win was TAMU's first game of the year after their first got cancelled. Georgia is pretty good. I think @South Carolina can be seen as a fluke. Considering their schedule they should cruise to 11-1 unless Tech knocks them off. |

Florida, Louisville and Clemson at least. Notre Dame has played far better at neutral sites and on the road than at home this year. The Pitt game was awful, and the luck of the Irish tag was definitely warranted with that performance, but ND was playing without Louis Nix for 3 quarters: it's no coincidence Graham and that offense did nothing once he started playing. A fully healthy ND defense still gives them a good shot to beat any of these teams sans Oregon/Alabama. |

Re: BBF Top 10 Poll Thread
And Notre Dame could just as easily beat all of those teams besides Alabama on a neutral field. Outside of Bama and possibly A&M, where are all of those teams going to get their points against Notre Dames defense? Most years I would be apt to agree with you, but a healthy ND defense gives them a good shot against anyone not named Alabama or Oregon.

Re: BBF Top 10 Poll Thread
I think ND would beat LSU, Florida, and South Carolina. TAMU and Georgia are more complicated. Alabama probably not.
But for the record, Sagarin has Notre Dame as #4 in his predictor ratings, which means they would be favored over everyone in the SEC except Bama. |

Bama lost, they have no business being ranked over ND period. ND struggled with Pitt, great, but they are still 10-0. |

Re: BBF Top 10 Poll Thread
Of all the one loss teams, Georgia's loss was the most embarassing. LOL. I'm not complainin'.
Clemson is interesting. They've been on a tear offensively. Hope they destroy South Carolina. |
