Notre Dame won't play again for 45 days.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
If anyone wants a good laugh go look at the Big East Standings...Syracuse was 8 points away from winning the Big East(They lost to Rugters 23-15)

at ND being better than UGA and comparable to Bama. Those are easily the best two teams in the nation in my opinion.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
Florida and Oregon kind of get screwed here. I'm not complaining, of course. The top ten teams are so even. It's impossible for someone not to get screwed. Hell, I'm curious how an SEC Tournament would play out. UGA, LSU, Bama, A&M, UF, and I guess, USCe.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
Just looked at Wisconsin's schedule next year. It's a doozie
UMass W Tennessee Tech W at Arizona State at Ohio State Northwestern W at Illinois W Purdue W at Iowa W BYU Indiana W at Minnesota W Penn State 8-4 guaranteed. SHOULD beat BYU, ASU, and a depleted Penn State at Camp Randall. Hellllo BCS

Yes. And their schedule is even more pathetic than ours. They'll probably be riding a 23 game win streak when they hit the Big House next year unless we beat them at the Horseshoe.

I really don't think there's much of a difference between a lot of the top teams. Who would want to play Stanford right now? Or Texas A&M? Alabama and Georgia belong in the discussion of course, but do you really feel they'd steam roll either of those teams, or Oregon? Or Notre Dame? I don't. I think any of those games could go either way.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
The same Georgia team that beat Tennessee by 7, Kentucky by 5 and lost by 4 TD's to South Carolina? Your 2nd best win is over Vanderbilt. I know you go to UGA, but damn son. ND's defense would force Murray into having to beat us and I love our chances if that is the case. Remember how he did against Florida? Our defense is every bit as good and our offense is better than Floridas. The SEC arrogance is warranted, but this isn't your typical ND team of the past 20 years. Hell I would've been apt to agree with you before Golsons late season emergence, but if Golson plays mistake-free football with our defense I love our chances against anyone.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
Needing 3 OT to beat Pittsburgh might be worse than getting blown out vs. USC tho.
Luke is right here. I'm not saying they would all be blowouts, but put ND in the SEC and they are the 6th or 7th best team. |

ND is still a 9-11 win team in the SEC. We get to exchange Michigan/MSU/Oklahoma for Buffalo/An FCS team/UL Lafayette level squad? And play Kentucky/Vanderbilt/avoid Bama and LSU? Keep hanging your hat on the Pitt game though, thats far from indicative of the team we've been all year.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
SEC will have 6 11-win teams if they win their bowl games.
Georgia is a lot better than its South Carolina loss as well, but I think Alabama will win because Georgia's OL is very young and hasn't been tested yet. What gives me hope is Bama can't pass rush without blitzing like South Carolina can and their secondary isn't as good either. As long as Murray doesn't throw 6 INT's, it should be close. |

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
Chip Kelly's good, but i'm not sure how his spread will hold up against an SEC D. It seemed Urban's spread was becoming less and less effective every year down here, but ND has a decent D that will need to show up if they want any hope to win. Im more confident in Bama than Ugga due to their recent history, but i think Ugga can still represent the SEC well this year.

Re: College Football '12 - Week 13
Notre Dame is full of guys from the South and California anyway. SEC doesn't have a recruiting advantage over them like they do with the rest of us up here in Big Ten Country where football was perfected.
