Re: Heisman Trophy Poll (2012)
Really? I thought he had 1 Heisman worthy game(against a good team) and that was against Bama. He was terrible against LSU and Florida. He Played South Carolina State, Southern Methodist and Sam Houston State...I just really didnt see that Heisman season from him beside the Bama game
I thought T'eo should have won it because of the things he did for ND that didnt show up on a stat sheet.

Re: Heisman Trophy Poll (2012)
Te'o wasn't even the best defensive player on his own team! You could make an argument that Nix and Tuitt were more valuable.
Clowney should have been in New York if they wanted a defensive player. And I'm sure if you went through the history of past Heisman winners, most played better against terrible teams than they did good ones. |

Re: Heisman Trophy Poll (2012)
Jarvis probably was, but he missed a few games because of an injury. And hell, I could even argue he was Georgia's second best linebacker by the end of the year. Still finished in the top ten though!

Jones had the better stat season. But Te'o had the better season. Just watching him out there and the HUGE plays he makes when ND needed them. He was incredible this year

Re: Heisman Trophy Poll (2012)
ND would not be undefeated and in the BCS Championship game without Te'o leadership on that defense. Texas AM would be at the same place i think with a different QB. They probably wouldnt have beat Bama but still in about the same place

Re: Heisman Trophy Poll (2012)
Well you cant really compare the two. Jones is a outside rusher like Ware and Te'o is a coverage/tackler like London Fletcher
