kansas has best backcourt

no doubt kansas has the best backcourt with Kirk Hinrich, Aaron Miles, and Keith Langford. Hinrich and Miles are future first round picks and if Langford continues to develop then he will be a first rounder to

not necessarily

I believe Miles could be a solid pro pointguard, but I don't think he's a sure fire first rounder either, and I really doubt Langford is a first rounder. He plays the 3 for them, but he's really an undersized 2. He's got a long way to go before he can be considered a player who will get drafted, let alone in the first round.

jayhawks backcourt is the best

Langford is only playing the 3 this year because they have Hinrich at the 2 spot and miles at the one.( this shows just how good the backcourt is). Langford will move back to the 2 spot for his junior year because hinrich will be in the NBA as a lottery pick. Miles will be a sure fire first rounder because he plans on staying for 4 years. His freshman year he didnt get that many minutes cuz of Hinrich and Boschee. Miles will continue to be part of the best backcourt even after Hinrich leaves cuz him and Langford will become a super Junior combo.

They do have a great backcourt, but OUs has got to be better..... Hollis Price, Quannas White, Ebi Ere, DeAngelo Alexander, Blake Johnston, Rashad Carruth, the list goes on and on.

I think the Jayhawks has a good backcourt, adn I do not think they have the best backcourt. Personally I thought of last year was a better back court than this year. And I am a diehard KU fan, even ask motigs. Last year you have three very good guards and Langford who is good SG/SF. I do not see Langford as a first rounder yet. At best now, undrafted. He does has the upside. Miles is a very good young PG, and I see him as a first rounder, and we all know about Hinrich. The backcourt is a very talent one with those three, and have Michael Lee, Jeff Hawkins, and Vinson (walkon) will be very good backups. For non-KU fans. Lee is Miles HS teamate, very good defender, adn shooter. He had an offer to Oregon, but signed with Kansas. Jeff Hawkins is a 5'10" point guard from the KC area. He was a redshirt frosh last season, and this season took Boschee's scholoarship spot. He turend down offers to UCLA and Oklahoma for an example He will be a very solid backup. Vinson is a walkon who went to a comm college last season, and he trun down offers to KSU, WSU, UMKC, and Davidson.

Sorry Iverson3, but I don't see kansas as the best one, but I do see them as a top 5 backcourt. The Front court I think is a top 5 too.

In the front court, it is a little less depth. Collison and Simen are very good forwards. Graves should get some good minutes. Niang is a project, but should give one of the top three some rest. I think Roy got a walkon to put in some depth, and I am sure he will add two to three walkons with great basketball experience. Bryant Nash is a SF could play some mop up minutes at PF if needed. That is a big if.

I think you overrate their backups

I'll admit that KU has one of the best starting lines in the country, if not the best, but after that they've got nothing. Graves has a weight problem and Niang is a project, like you said. The rest of their players are just not that good. Just because they were offered by other schools doesn't mean much. What have they actually done in college? I'll tell you, nothing.

also...

I think it's a stretch to call KU's frontcourt top 5 right now. Collison is good, but Simien still has a lot to prove, and after that they have zero proven players and only one who can be expected to put up any kind of numbers this year.

Simien may not have much experience, but come on. He scored at will when he was on the floor last year. I expect him to be one of the best PF's in college basketball...
