Paul Harris the best defender in College Basketball
Paul Harris is a stud. A lot of people are down on him based on a so so freshmen year but i am predicting that he will have an outstanding year and enter the nba draft. He is in the mold of a Ron Artest and plays harder than almost anyone i have ever seen. How he possibly averaged 7 rebounds last year in the minutes he played is beyond me for a 2/3.. at 6'4 220 i think he will be the future of the nba's lockdown club.. along with current greats like bowen and artest..

He is tenacious, and he put OJ Mayo on lockdown 2 years ago at the ABCD camp. He could definetley be a Ron Artest clone.

OJ Mayo couldn't get as many open looks as usual, and I believe that he really struggled with Harris's tencaity. Mayo scored but only like 4 or 5 points.

Re: Paul Harris the best defender in College Basketball
wow.. thats very impressive.. harris is a stud
Kevin Durant said of Harris: "He is the most complete player in the country. It's a shame he didn't make it because he is top five in the country without a doubt."

Re: Paul Harris the best defender in College Basketball
'Harris stepped in, effectively unknown by talent scouts, at the 2003 camp. After a teammate's injury forced his insertion into the lineup, Harris shut down the 2004 No. 1 NBA draft pick, Dwight Howard. Howard is 6-foot-11 - six inches taller than Harris.
And then there was the 2005 ABCD camp, when Harris played in what is affectionately referred to today as simply "The O.J. Mayo Game."
Harris held the highly-touted prospect Mayo to just two points. It was a defensive effort that had people buzzing. But Harris' team lost by one point in overtime, making the night a failure in Harris' eyes'

Re: Paul Harris the best defender in College Basketball
He's an interesting guy, but's he's gotta do just a little bit better than 5% from 3. Intriguing defensive guy for the NBA; could be what Hassan Adams was supposed to be.
