oh ya..... wait a minute, no i didn't

Any UConn big man is gonna average a bunch of blocks especially if he is 7'3 with long arms
The truth is UConn hasn't been all that great defensively this season and while Thabeet has been a solid reassurance the big guys I've mentioned have all been much more effective

I'm not gonna attempt to argue Nelson with you but if you really present a good arguement we can do it

Go back and watch the first 25 Duke games of the season. I already did, so there's really no point in me debating it with you.

Your logic (big + long arms) for Thabeet is silly. But I'll buy the second part (other guys you had being better).

I haven't watched 25 duke games but the 5 or so duke games I watched weren't the only games I watched (if you know what I'm getting at ) I see your avatar there lol

Also my point on Thabeet is that UConn plays a defense that emphizes shot blocking and makes any big man that's part of it look like a terrific shot blocker... especially if the big guys is 7'3 and long and athletic for a guy his size

Varnado, and Westbrook should be first team. TM's right Thabeet should be over Hibbert. This is about individual defense not team defense.

Brook Lopez ought to be on everybody's all-defensive team. Not as many blocks as some of the other C's, but a better all-around defender...

I don't know I always go to the forum but there is rarely interesting topics in here and not that many people post

but anyway

I chose Hibbert over Thabeet cuz Georgetown I beleive leads the nation in FG% percentages and Hibbert is by far the most important defender on that team
Don't be fooled by the lower numbers on Hibbert because Georgetown is a much slower tempo team and also doesn't completely base their defense on shot blocking
I bet if Hibbert played on UConn he'd average 4 blocks a game and Thabeet would play on Georgetown they would be a lot worse defensively

Brook Lopez is the better player definatly out of the twins but I think Robin is a better defender but it's close either way they are both towers
