The field doesn't look as good as it has in years past. I'd like to see a 2nd round matchup between Dayton and OSU. San Diego St's been decent the last few years. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make some noise.

Yea this field must be one of the weakest in recent memory. It does get much better in the up-coming years though.

2004:
Chaminade
Iowa
Louisville
North Carolina
Brigham Young University
Tennessee
Texas
Stanford

2005:
Chaminade
Arizona
Arkansas
DePaul
Kansas
Maryland
Michigan State
Connecticut

IMO, SDSU can beat OSU, but can most likely not beat the Dayton Flyers. But I wouldn't be too surprised to see SDSU get to the finals, or win it all. You may think I'm crazy, but their roster isn't too bad.

Steve Sir is a lights out shooter from anywhere on the court.

Tommy Johnson could have a break out year now that Bland's gone. He was the #2 SG in the west coast (or California, can't remember) in his HS class behind DeShawn Stevenson. He can slash and is an okay shooter.

Trimaine Davis can be a college version of Ben Wallace. He was close to averaging a triple double in HS with points, rebounds, and blocks.

Aerick Sanders is a great rebounder.

Travis Hanour's a transfer from Arizona. Didn't show much last year, but I hope he steps up this year.

Chris Manker is a 7 footer that can stroke the three and plays decent D.

Chris Walton has basketball knowledge and most likely improved a lot after his redshirt season.

Wesley Stokes is going to step in and most likely be the starting PG after waiting out a year due to transferring from Missouri.

wow, that is a powerful bracket. We are not sure how good the teams will be in 2 years, but wow. In that year, KU and MSU can place twice since that fall, KU is visiting MSU. for the home and home series. It was goign to be 2003 and 2004, but now 2004 and 2005. sorry to be off topic here.
