2003/2004 NCAA Seniors
I see that this forum has not had a big conversation for a while now, so I figured that this would be a neat idea. Let's try to put together a list of all of the top NCAA D1 seniors (2003-2004), along with a little piece of information on each one of them. Therefore, by the time everyone throws out a name or two, we can have a list of the top 100 seniors. I'll name a prospect first.
1. Darius Rice - University of Miami - SF/PF - 6'10'' - 220 lbs. - An excellent shooter and smart ball-player, Rice is a versitle athlete capable of playing both forward spots. Rice must improve his inside game and perimeter defense, but has bulked up during the offseason, which should help on the glass. Note: Nephew of Oakland Raiders WR Jerry Rice.

2. Arthur Johnson - University of Missouri - PF/C - 6'9" - 265 lbs
33.1 mpg, 16.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 1.2 apg, .490 fg% .569ft%, 0.9 spg, 1.9 bpg
Johnson is a dominanting low-post scorer, with a surprising amount of agility for his size. A great shotblocker, despite all the extra weight. Weaknesses include the tendancy to wear out as the game wears on, and pick up silly fouls. Plays on a veteran-laden Missouri team that should compete for a national championship - as long as nothing comes of NCAA's ongoing investigation into the Missouri basketball program.

3. Chris Duhon - Duke University - PG - 6'1" - 190 lbs.
36 mpg, 9.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 6.5 apg, .385 fg% .677ft%, 1.9 spg
Considered by fans who rarely watch him and only look at box scores to be one of the most overrated college basketball players in the last 10 years. His shooting has been disappointing at times, but he's so much more than just an offensive players... Like Rice, he's an extremely intelligent player who can play two positions (either the one or two)... Has amazing court vision and is one of the best on-the-ball defenders in the nation... Must shoot the ball better this season.

4. Brent Halsch 6'5 215 F High Point (NC) University
22 min 5 points 3 rebounds 0.9 steals 1.2 assists 0.1 blocks 36% from 3 65 % from FT
really only 6'3, in 2002 started a game at center against kentucky matched up against marquis estill, one of the best rebounding 6'3 forwards in division 1 solid 3 point shooter hustles around the hoop
(this is a joke......i know the guy personally and he'll probably think this is funny)

There is no ongoing investigation by the NCAA directly related to Mizzou. They are investigating a junior college that has sent two players to MU, I believe, but that's not something that would put Mizzou on probation. Mizzou is also doing an internal investigation, but nothing new has been found for months and the only source in the whole thing for the people looking into wrong-doing is a disgruntled ex-girlfriend who got pissed when the school supported the guy who choked her instead of her.

Maybe if you keep saying this, it will turn out to be true one of these times...
Or maybe not.
