Hmmmm...
There are many better point guards out there, and from what I've seen Cliff Hawkins has improved his 3 point shot a whole lot, a WHOLE lot. I saw him knocking down 3's from everywhere on the court during the off-season. Cliff Hawkins was probably one of the best defenders in the nation last year, had some of the best handles, new how to work against full court pressure, and could drive like no other. His only problem was he had but a mediocre outside shot. Now that he's fixed that, I think he deserves at least some recognition.

Rashad Wright is the best pure PG in the sec. Roberson is the best scorer, but he doesn't have PG skills. Hawkins plays the best D, but Wright is the best passer and plays with heart and leadership.

If Rashad is the best, that shows how avg. the PG's in the SEC really are. I actually think CJ Watson at Tennessee will be the best overall PG in the conference next season.

John Gilchrist. He is a pretty good guard. He might surprise as well. He has a lot of talent.
