Now you know that Creighton won't be preseason top 25 without Korver, House and Bowden.

I think Gonzaga has just as good a team as Kansas this year. If you go down the roster they sure do matchup well.

Texas Should not be in the top 10, and most people have smartly not chose to place them there. Actually 12 is too good a rating for them IMO.
Zaga? I would say that more then 2/3 of the expert or expert publications have Gonzaga in the top 10. That is FAR from an unusual pick by Mandel. And it is quite reasonable, IMO.

I know they won't be in, just being a little biased.

texas shouldn't be in the top 10 and 12 is too high for them, but syracuse is fine at 5? exactly why is syracuse that much better than texas?

Texas is absolutely stacked, even without Ford. There's a reason the Big XII coaches picked them 2nd in the preseason league poll (I'd say the coaches know a bit more than the AP writers).
Moreover, the Big XII is the toughest conference in the nation yet again.
I think some people are forgetting there's a guy by the name of Simien on Kansas' roster. He's pretty good. And he's 100% healthy.

When I see my image on the security camera at the country club, I wonder, are they stealing my soul? I get so upset, I hop out of my Range Rover and run across the fairway to the clubhouse, where I get Carlos to make me one of those martinis he's so famous for, to soothe my primitive caveman brain. But whatever world you're from, I do know one thing: in the 20 years from March 22, 1972, when he first ordered that extra nicotine be put into his product, until February 25, 1992, when he issued an interoffice memorandum stopping the addition of that nicotine, my client was legally insane.

Coaches know more then the AP writers. But most of them also half *** the regular season coaches poll, by voting the same as AP during the regular season. The coaches poll is a joke, and it is well documented. There is a reason they are always a week behind the AP poll in movements.
Perhaps the pre-season poll is done with respect by the coaches. But never, never trust the regular season poll, which is a joke.

I'd take the AP poll of the coaches. Neither follows the entire game that closely I find but writers are probably a little better at it.

if half the coaches just vote the same as the ap poll, why would that mean the coaches poll is a joke? it may be a dumb thing to have if they just vote the same, but the polls also would be almost the same making them equally accurate(or | |
