I pick UNC-Greensboro. They are a very good mid-major college basketball program.,

A short history lesson.
The CAA has recently lost Richmond (A-10), American University (Patriot League), and East Carolina (C-USA). That brought the membership down to six. The conference raided the America East and took its top four members (where have I heard that before). This has brought the membership up to ten and has dramatically increased the conference footprint from NC to NY. The conference is interested in expansion to 12 and dividing into two geographical divisions. The problem is how. The conference has two equal camps; 5 football schools and 5 BB schools. The FB schools want to bring in two FB schools so the conference can officially sponsor FB, and the BB schools wants two more BB schools.
There isn't a rush. The thinking now is to wait and see what comes of the ACC-Big East struggle. If that happens, the CAA may benefit as the Big East would then become a FB conference and discard the BB teams. The Big East BB teams would then take the cream from the A-10 leaving rest to find a home. CAA is hoping to maybe pickup LaSalle, St Joes and/or George Washington.
Then there is the thorny issue of UNCW. They feel isolated and wants another Carolina school as a travel partner. The Commissioner has more or less promised them a partner.
