I don't think it needs to be the most active of forums. It was just a nice place to blow of steam when you want to fly off.

Same can be said about the Cavs forum. Take a look at that booming activity.

Well, this probably goes on me. I asked BlueBaron to remove the rants forum because of it's inactivity. He talked it over with the other admins and it was removed. Me personally, I'm not fond of inactive forums at all but I can see Porn Player's argument for why it should of stayed.

The staff that didn't like the rants idea should be happy. It's quite hilarious that the rants section was portrayed as some trashy terrible forum. It really wasn't that bad. Try my rants forum. Where females are exposed for posting fake pictures, males are exposed for posting as females which leads to them being ran off the forum, people exposed for creating multiple accounts to further continue an argument against one poster in rants, or the one guy that was exposed for being into incest porn and posting on an incest forum, or other random acts that leads to people being ran off (most likely for being shit posters). It's comedy heaven.

The member base is different here. Rants wouldn't of been that bad at all.

The Bucks board is far better than half the team forums here, i know its just Narek, Prince and myself with the occasional lurker but man, compared to the Jazz board we are bumpin

FWIW it was initially something we rolled out while the lockout was going on that stuck around.....some people didn't like the idea but didn't like the perceived alternative of nothing to do on this board last year....but then once the activity on it died anyway admins were happy to sweep it under the rug while no one was looking pretty much.

I never cared for it, I felt like it just diverted threads away from EBB and the Political Economy forum. I won't miss it.
