I don't know. Rep used to see exciting around here. Then it died off for some reason. I still get 3-5 a month, but other than the comments I don't really look or care anymore.

This thread has inspired me to make some comments about the android app for Vertical Sports, but I can't find the old thread about it.

Theoretically, if we were to go to a division based forum, scrapping the team forums, do you think we would get more fans of different teams conversing? For example, there are some Bulls fans that hardly venture out of their safe place, maybe they would chime in on a Pacers topic once in a while. Likewise, I might chime in on a Bulls topic, or a Bucks topic.

In the West, I could see a lot more talk about the Clippers. That forum is dead, but with division a topic about how much Vinny Del Negro sucks might thrive.

Also, assuming we upgrade software, losing team skins would mean nothing.

I just downloaded the VS app. VS is nothing if not quality, so I'm sure I'll love it.

Don't pay for the full one. I did for my iPad but didn't on my phone. Only difference is you see one ad on the top of every thread, and thats not enough for VS to get my money twice.

How do I set it to 50 posts per page though? That's the main thing.

I honestly would like to know the same thing. Sometimes I'll exit the thread in the middle of a page, and then new posts are made and I can't see the posts between the last post I read and the new page.

The topic has come up before and I always come out against scrapping the team forums. I think our goal should be to have as many thriving communities as possible, in addition to those that drift from board to board. Honestly, if there was no Bulls forum here, I'd probably go find a place that had one. I still don't like that we got rid of the college basketball conference forums... it just seems like we'll never have those fan bases because there's no obvious place for them to go. Same with the nba team forums. What we need is to fill those forums with active communities... which is the challenge.

I got to this place back in '03 because nbadraft.net had a link to it (back when they were one of the only draft-specific sites)... I think associating ourselves with other peoples content in an effort to draw people is the way to go.

Go to settings and then change it to 50 posts per page.

We're not going to a division-based forum so it doesn't matter.

My biggest problem with the app is that I can't read PMs. Every time I go to that section, the app shuts down and exits automatically.

Hmm I've never had that problem. The only thing I hate about it is the sig. Every time I turn it off but then close the app, the next time I come back on, it's back on. So annoying.

I can't stand internet on a phone. I'd much rather just wait till I can get on a computer.
