Let's stay on topic please. Enough back and forth that's not going to get us anywhere.

Headliner, the referral program sounds decent but at this point what kind of prize would members even care for?

Re: Forum Ideas

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. A membership wouldn't do anything because there's nothing special about having one. All you can do is change your usertitle.

Unless someone is willing to offer them a DVD or something from nba.com. That seems too far out there though.

I'm willing to fund some ideas if we come up with good ones that turn out actually bring in new members.

Re: Forum Ideas

Shit, with how cheap those are I wouldn't mind buying whoever wins whatever contest some mid level tickets to whatever team they want.

Could be an idea.

Re: Forum Ideas

Problem with tickets is it would only work for certain teams. If a Lakers fan wins a contest, those tickets aren't cheap no matter which way you slice it.

Just looked on ticket master and I guess it depends on the game.

A game against the bucks I could get a couple upper bowl seats for $100+/- for the pair, but a game against Miami looks to be about double the price.

You can go have a look over at the thread where R-Star staged his fight to see how much leeway I gave him. It was a lot. He doesn't get the same leeway with other staff members, sorry.

I agree. Let me tell you another bit of truth. We used to have this staff member here, no one really liked him because all he did was whine and complain that we should do things the way he wanted. One day he went to the higher ups at V-Scope and asked that they remove him from staff here. Odd that he would do that, right? I mean, if he really didn't want to be on staff here he could have asked one of us and we would gladly have removed him.

But here's the funny part. He began hinting publicly that he'd been demoted and riling the R-Stars of the site up. Now, as he'd gone over our heads to have himself removed none of us had any idea why he was removed or even who'd done it. So we here on staff here took a pile of flak for demoting this douchebag, and he smugly sat on the sidelines egging on the crowd, never once letting them know that the reason he'd been removed is that he requested it. Yeah, let me tell you, that guy has been an invaluable asset by dialing up the tween drama to 106.

Accused of amassing an 18-gun arsenal to protect his drug business, Bjorkstam is said to have defended Swift to police, describing him as a "good guy" who helped him try to collect a heroin debt but did not deal drugs himself.

"People have been ripping me off," Bjorkstam told police, according to charging papers. "Rob and I are trying to put a stop to that."

You've always taken insults, ill give you credit. Do you think that makes it ok as an admin to dish it out? It's inconsistent. Either we shouldn't allow it or make this site a free for all.

Ron doesn't like obscenity (not an insult, it's fact). Yet you go on ebb and prince or blakejesus are engaged in locker room talk about ****ing hoes. Inconsistent.

Yet you guys promoted him in the first place. Doesn't speak well on your judgement, no? Not the first time someone you barely knew was promoted.

Douchebag? Coupled with other insults? Bbbbuuuuttttt we can't do that.

Also, I'm glad you just quit talking about the edited post that you said the staff saw. When I pointed out they didn't you shut up pretty quick. Why is that EH? Is it because it wasn't an edit worthy post to begin with? You'd never do something like that would you?
