You really do like to use word play to dodge things don't you EH. No, the site hasn't lost a ton of membership, and is basically hanging on by a thread. And no one has issues with how the site is currently being run. No. Its me. Probably something to do about me wanting to rule the interwebz or whatever line you have this week.


Get over yourself. There's issues with the site. You yourself are a root cause of said issue according to a large number of posters. I'd like that to be discussed, but I'm expecting a "Look at that! R-Star thinks everythings about him!" or "King of the interwebz!" or "He's drunk again!"

Thank you for fielding questions Basel. Its what the original intent is. And to clarify to Ron, the original post that was deleted by EH said nothing outside of the fact I think this place is run with an iron fist at times. EH just over stepped his bounds and deleted a post, then made up a story since there was no way to prove, disprove that the post said afterward.

I don't know what we're planning on doing moving forward. I'm open to hearing all of your ideas and going from there.

I think one big thing we need to utilize is Twitter. We have a BBF Twitter account but it hardly ever gets used. Nobody has the time to run it by themselves although we've had people try. Twitted is huge and could potentially benefit us. We just need to be consistent with it.

We generally don't like talking about staff in public. It's not a good look for the boards. Nobody wants to come to BBF and see regular members and admins arguing. PM me your thoughts on the admins and I'll go from there (that goes for any of you - contact me whenever you like). I'm not going to discuss management issues in public. Sorry.

I don't understand twitter well enough to be the guy. How are people going to use it? I mean if its for basketball related news, I'd assume most people just follow ESPN or one of the writers.

As far as the other explanation, fair enough and understandable. It seems you are aware there are actual issues in that area though, which is good.

Once you figure out how to use it, it pretty much replaces the need for having message boards.

I actually don't use Twitter, never have.

That being said, since we don't have any true insider information, we could pose a question once a week or something like that. Something relevant that can generate a discussion, start it as a thread on the board and then post the question/link on Twitter. Some will just comment to the question, but some will follow the link and maybe want to have a real discussion that doesn't have a character limit on it.

I never watch games live. I would hate to get updates that ruin the outcome for me. Sounds awful.
