why do you say Omaha hates Big 12 except Nebraska? Yes they are loyal to their school.

I generally pick a 1 seed to bow out before the Elite 8, and UNC will be my team this year. UNC's weakness is their interior defense, and both Indiana and Washington St. have been excellent at scoring in the paint this season. They will not survive both of those games. If you pick UNC to go far, you're going to regret it.
As far as UNC playing 'a home game' - I remember everyone saying that A&M had no chance to beat Louisville last year because it was being played in Lexington. Lesson learned - it's not as big of an advantage as you think, especially since they barely survived Virginia Tech 'at home' on Saturday.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
Even though I said that Indiana will be a trip up game for UNC I'm still pulling for them to win it all. My bracket won't reflect that however.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
Lexington is not a home game for Louisville. Their biggest rival is Kentucky. North Carolina is a Carolina Blue state. Hard to see them losing to a team like Washington State or Indiana. I'd love for it to happen, but the only chance they go down is Louisville/Tennessee.

That's not what I heard last year. Everything you heard was - 'wow, Louisville's playing an hour from their campus. Their going to roll through that region.'
If UNC is so unbeatable at home, then why did they lose their twice and barely survive Va. Tech on Saturday?
Hard to see them losing to a team like Washington St. or Indiana? Versus what...a three point shooting team?

even though i live in CT love is going to have a field day with thabeet. 2 things: 1) unlike thabeet who needs to take breaks, love can probably play 35, 38 minutes if he wanted too, or needed to
2) thabeet is only good for shots 15 feet from the rim or closer. you actually have to guard love on the perimeter because he's not afraid to take the 3 and can make it. also westbrook & collison are better then price & austrie.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
I am not sure that Collison and Westbrook are better than Price, Austrie, Wiggins and Dyson though. The reason why UConn lost to WVU is because they had no answer for Joe Alexander. I honestly feel they would beat UCLA. They are on borrowed time right now.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
first round games i find interesting:
notre dame vs george mason
unlv vs kent state
clemson vs villanova
usc vs kansas state
miami vs st marys
i really like george mason over notre dame and washington state to get to the sweet sixteen. i also have usc over wisconsin and for now i'm going with west virginia over duke.
final four - louisville, georgetown, texas, ucla

Omaha hates Big 12 because it is a Missouri Valley area. Unless KU fans buy up the allotment of tickets and I have heard that at least 5,000 were purchased by the general public in Omaha, expect the local fans to be there booing the big 12 teams. That's Creighton's home court and they really were hoping to see Drake there to root for them. They will probably be rooting against KSU and KU.

If you loved Ray, Foye and Lowry, Russell Westbrook is your man! You just haven't realized it yet...
