Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
^I agree. VT had an argument as one of the best 65 teams. The best 34? Um, no.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
Only way Nova's gonna beat Clemson is if Stokes continue his shooting. Reynold's gonna have an ok game but not spectacular. If young players like Fisher, Stokes, and Pena(Pena probably won't step up) step up then Nova's gonna be fine. We live by 3, die by 3, so if the guards have an off night, its gonna be a rough game.
btw, HKF I don't know if you still remember the bet with Kyle Lowry but I didn't lose the bet. I bet that I wouldn't return if lowry gets drafted 1st round and starts at least 50 games which didn't happen. You were completely wrong about him going lottery and also that he will start as a memphis pg(just clarifying)

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
Umm, Lowry got hurt and the bet was that he was taken in the first round. You said he would return to college and you were wrong. Don't try to come in here and change what the stipulations were. I never said lottery, I said first round pick. You clearly lost. Not that I care, post away.

Indiana has Gordon who will be the best guard in that game. I really don't see how you can pick this Indiana team with Dakich as coach though. They have gotten progressively worse since he has taken over as interim coach. If Sampson was still there I think this game had potential to be one of the best in the tourney.

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
I have all four of the 10 seeds beating the 7 seeds in the first round.
Arizona/Xavier play for an elite 8 birth.
Memphis fails to make the second weekend.
UCLA is a lock for the final four, but like the last two years they just don't have an unstoppable player on offense to lead them to a championship.

So why is everyone I hear on the major sports outlets picking them to win?

Re: Alright fellas, let's break down the brackets
I am not sure, but I have been saying it all year. Arizona only has two guys who bring it every single night. They only have four guys worth a damn right now. I expect Arizona to lose a virtual road game tomorrow.

How many teams swept Washington St. and took Kansas to OT on the road? Bad teams don't do that. Don't get me wrong, I took West Virginia to win that game because I pick the better defensive teams when in doubt, but give them some credit.
