Who you got winning the NIT?
The 71st Annual National Invitation Tournament.....Who has the best shot to win it? I know almost everybody is just focusing on the NCAA's this time of year, but there are some solid teams that didn't make the tournament who usually do, such as: OSU, UF, Syracuse, Maryland, Southern Ill, ASU, etc.....? Who do u guys think has the best shot to win college basketball's renowned consolation prize.
I'll be a homer and say UF, but I think OSU has a good shot to take it as well. It would be fun to see another championship showdown between those two this year tho....
Discuss.

Re: Who you got winning the NIT?
I'll go with Arizona State, just cause they're probably ticked. Too bad they didn't schedule the teams they're hacing to play now for the regular season. They may actually be in the real tournament had they done that.

Re: Post NIT predictions here
This may be the first year that I actually follow the NIT in depth. A lot of the favorite bubble teams didn't show up for their confernce tourneys, so they ended up in the NIT. Va Tech is probly a little ticked as well as OSU, but hey, someone always seems to get the shaft every year.
I was surprised that VCU lost so quickly today tho and FSU underacheived like always.....Im shocked that Leonard Hamilton still has a job. That team has all the talent in the world, but the only teams they get up to play is UNC, UF, and Duke...They play like all pro in those games and then play like **** the next.

Re: Post NIT predictions here
Florida will win it IMO. They have the best player in the NIT final 4 (Calathes) and the best coach. Unless they go cold from the field they will win.
