Villanova may do some damage, Clemson doesn't have the perimeter defense but their defense around the basket is really good. Nova, will take it inside with their guards but ultimately they will be hovering around the perimeter. As of right now I have Clemson.
Pittsburgh may go far, very physical team. They finally moved on after losing Mike Cook and Fields (for a period of time). They look very good and as usual Pittsburgh will make the opposing team a bunch of men after the game is over
Not saying every Big east team will go far, I don't think WVU and Villanova will get out of the first round. I'm a little shaky with Marquette going deep but they have the type of players that I like that will go to the 16.
I believe Gtown, Pittsburgh, ND, Louisville and UConn will be part of the sweet 16. After that, I could only see 2-3 teams going that far ahead.
I love georgetown but Hibbert has this thing where he gets into foul trouble when its time for him to shine against the top teams. Once he is gone, someone needs to step up and I don't see that right now. I love Sapp, hes a floor leader but he isn't a game changer like Hibbert.

If ND is hitting their outside shots they can play with UNC, in fact that may be the highest scoring game in the tournament. Hansbrough and Harangody would be one hell of a matchup. Neither team plays any semblence of defense.

Re: sleepers?
Oral Roberts is a good one
Pitt is hot right now and they've been great with Fields in the line up but ORU is the best 13 seed IMO and Pitt kind of reminds me of 'Cuse of a couple of years back when they went through the Big East tourney and lost in the 1st round
Marquette has very strong guard play and I think they will beat Stanford
I don't know about beating Texas but that'll be a very close game...
Also I have Kansas State in the Elite 8
just cuz I have noticed a trend of talent almost always prevailing in the tournament and Beasley is by far the most talented overall player in the country
finally Wisconsin is the best defensive team in the country this season and if they can get someone (Landry, Hughes, Butch..?? Flowers?) to make some big plays/shots down the road they can make it to the final 4 however I have them loosing to Kansas State in the 2nd round right now

Better defensive team than UCLA and Stanford? Lets not go overboard now. Remember the Big 10 is no Pac-10

Re: sleepers?
its hard to say this year especially who really is the best cuz Georgetown, Louisville, Kansas and Memphis would all disagree with me and you
but statistically Wisconsin is the best

That's your opinion. They're two totally different types of defense. Wisconsin is based off a "bend but don't break" approach that involves playing tough from the 3-point line and in, where as UCLA is going to pressure you all over the court...UCLA's defense creates more offense, but it gives up a lot more easy buckets.
We'll see a Big 10 - Pac 10 matchup between us and 'SC possibly in the 2nd round, maybe we'll find out who's right.

Re: sleepers?
I have BYU beating UCLA. ND beating UNC, Louisville beating ND to go to the final four. I have Xavier to the final four. Davidson winning.
I did have Baylor and they got blown out. I am a moron.
