What? So you switch players and you think UNC would have the success they did this year? Heck no. I can concede to people saying Love will be the better pro player but for you to say people who think Tyler is the better pro player havent watched Love is ludicrous. There is a reason why Tyler is National Player of the Year you know

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
^^^Because ESPN pimped him out to no end. No honestly I understand what your getting at and I agree to an extent. Imagine UNC's fast break with Love's outlet ability though. But I think in terms of overall ability and carrying the team when they need it Hansbrough is more valuable. I think as freshman though Love was better than Hansbrough.

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
Love did have the better freshman season, but I thought the thread was comparing both players right now.

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
Different situations, you can't really tell who is more important for his team. Exchange Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul with each other, don't make any roster changes and I don't think their teams win as many games. It's unfair to both because their teams play such a different style that you can't see either doing as well as they are doing right now.

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
But Kobe and Paul play two different positions. You can compare Love and Hansbrough because they play the same position. Hansbrough can play any type of game, uptempo or grind it out. The same cannot be said about Love. Its not like he is going to be throwing the ball down the court every time he gets a rebound. Also realize, Tyler might not be the passer Love is, but he is making a living at the line. Love doesnt have that advantage, at least not in college

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
I am saying that part of his game is overrated because its not like he does it a lot in the game. At most its one or two quick passes down the court, most teams catch on to that type of thing and prevent it

*smh*
You must not be watching the torunament at all then, or at least not the games Love is playing in. He throws a few outlet passes off of makes, and misses that lead to a Westbrook dunk or a Collison layup on the other end. His passing is a fast-break and it leads to a few easy baskets by UCLA every game.

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
Yes but I am saying good defensive teams will not let him do that every possession down the court. He has great court vision no doubt, but any coach worth his mettle, will not let another team continually get easy lay ups on them. Anywhoo thats what Tywon Lawson is there for, so I am not really going to complain if Hansbrough cant make quick outlet passes. UNC is still the superior uptempo team

Re: Love vs Hansbrough.
Teams haven't gotten back on those passes all year. Love gets the ball out of the net quickly, steps over the baseline, and he has a quick release. His teammates are also willing to run the floor. You pair Love's outlet ability with Lawson's speed with the ball in his hands and UNC would be more lethal on the break if Love was on the team.
