REVEALING NUMBERS: Atop the western Division, the Colorado 14ers (6-2) lead the league in per game averages for FGM (41.5), FG% (.497), FTA (34.1) , points (114.4), offensive rebounds (15.4) and total rebounds (48.0). Conversely, the Austin Toros have lost 11 straight and are tops in the league in turnovers (28.4) and personal fouls (27.5) per game.
THEY SAID IT: "This is one the better wins I've had in basketball. To leave your point guard at home and get the win after playing last night and traveling today, it's a good win"... Sioux Falls coach Mo McHone said after winning at Dakota on Saturday without guard Frank Williams, who missed the game with an injury. GOOD TIE: The Colorado 14ers tied the D-League record for field goals made in a game with 54 against Fort Worth on Saturday. The Asheville Altitude also made 54 vs. the Fayetteville Patriots on April 2, 2004.
BAD TIE: A 103-097 setback to Los Angeles handed Austin its 11th consecutive loss, tying the league record held by the Roanoke Dazzle (March 4-22, 2002).

J WILL RETURNS: Austin point guard Jay Williams, the second overall selection by Chicago in the 2002 NBA Draft, resumed his comeback Saturday after being on the shelf for three games with a groin injury. He played 26 minutes, did not score (0-2 FGA), had two rebounds and one assist in the Toros loss to Los Angeles.
