Devin Harris wins Rookie of the Month

Emeka Okafor of the Charlotte Bobcats and Devin Harris of the Dallas Mavericks today were named the Eastern and Western Conference got milk? Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in November.
Okafor, the second overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the expansion Charlotte Bobcats, ranks first in double-doubles (7), second in scoring (13.5 ppg), second in rebounding (10.1 rpg), second in blocks (1.62 bpg) and sixth in field goal percentage (48.4%) among rookies. Okafor finished the month with five consecutive double-doubles (points-rebounds), recording a career-high 26 points against New Jersey on November 30 and a career-high 15 rebounds against Detroit on November 23.
Harris, the fifth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, has led the Mavericks to a 10-6 record as their starting point guard. He ranks second among rookies in assists (2.7 apg), second in steals (1.56 spg), sixth in scoring (8.6 ppg) and sixth in minutes (22.7 mpg). Harris leads the Mavericks in steals and is tied for thirteenth in the NBA, recording four or more steals in three games this season.

Nov. 6 vs. Memphis: Tallied 14 points, four steals, three assists and two steals in a 112-88 victory over the visiting Grizzlies.
Nov. 16 vs. Phoenix: Had 15 points, six assists and five steals in a 107-101 loss to the Western Conference-leading Suns.
Nov. 21 @ Denver: Led the Mavericks in scoring with 15 points, while recording five assists, four rebounds and four steals in a 110-82 loss to the Nuggets.
