Analysis of Dallas so far...

I can't claim to be a Dallas fan, but I do love their style of play and I love Steve Nash as a playmaker. When I watched the Sacramento game I saw a few things that I noticed set them back. I don't live in Dallas so I only see the games they play on national TV or against my home team.

What I saw in the Sac game was disheartening. Sacramento is not scared of Dallas. Basketball is very psychological and they have the Mavs psyched out. Most teams can't compete with the skill level and mental abilities that Dallas has. The teams that can are not scared of them, and Sac is definitely one of those teams.

One of the main problems I saw was that Finley was almost nonexistent.

3 for 12...8 points
5 boards

That is not what finley could do against these guys. He needs to be more agressive. He is the most athletic guy they have. He needs to drive and dunk that freakin ball in vlades eye.

Bill Walton kept saying it was nash who was playing bad. I have to say that nash seemed hesitant, and it wasnt a game for him to remember, but the rest of the team needs to step it up if nash doesn't see a way to get it done. One thing I have noticed about nash is that if he doesnt see a way to get it done, he will usually find a way later in the game or pick his spots. During his lag time, someone else needs to step it up. Dirk did not step it up. Finley did not step it up. Van exel stepped it up. But do you really want to count on van exel as youre go to guy? Hes too inconsistent.

They need Najera. He provides them with toughness and hustle. When I watched that game I kept expecting to see them get some loose balls or rebounds but Sac was doing all of that. They need Najera.

I love dallas. They are the best team to watch in the NBA, IMO. Dirk needs to prove he is a leader, but for some reason I dont think he is. It has to come from Nash it seems

Also, defense defense defense. They need najera.

Peace out
Nash is phenomenal may I add
