Nash+Nowitzki=Stockton+Malone?

ANother discussion with my pals led to this. i think malone and stockton will always be better. Any thought?

Interesting discussion topic! I tend to agree with you, but that is probably because Stockton & malone have been around forever and are still making life difficult for other teams.

Nash & Dirk may end up being almost as good a combo, but that is far into the future. Nash is a more excitable player than Stockton, who has ice in his veins and NEVER rushes the offense - controlled! Dirk, imho, is FAR more "exciting" than Malone any day.

I see Nash & Nowitzki as a great duo. They are much more exciting than Stockton & Malone, but I doubt they will have their longevity and they have a long road to match their efficiency.

Just to add another thought, I don't think they will be the next Stokton & Malone, because the Mavs are a MUCH more deep, and they are more like a "trio" with Finley.
