Tariq Abdul-Wahad

Does this guy still play, is he trying to return from his injuries? Is he with the team at all? Or is he just a salary?

He's one of the reasons I don't like France.

Re: Tariq Abdul-Wahad

To get rid of him, works a five-team move (my idea):

Milwaukee send Joe Smith and Reece Gaines to Indiana;
Indiana send Austin Croshere to Dallas and a second-rounder to NO;
Dallas send Keith Van Horn to New Orleans and Tariq Abdul-Wahad to NY
NY send Penny Hardaway to Dallas;
NO send PJ Brown to Milwaukee;

Why?

Milwaukee: PJ Brown can help this team to be in the next level. He is an excellent defender and can give some experience to Bogut and to the whole team;

Indiana: Joe Smith have a cheaper contract and is more of a backup PF than Croshere, and can even play some C if necessary. Reece Gaines is a throw-in to work in salaries;

Dallas: Is better to them having Croshere retained in contract in next season than Tariq. Croshere can do the same job that KVH does (backing up Dirk). Penny contract expires after this season.

NY: Nah, a fifteen-million contract in two years in TAW instead of an expiring fifteen-million in Penny, who wants out. In this season, NY salary cap would be less sized if this trade works. Maybe TAW earn some little minutes as an defending SF/SG...

NO: KVH can play both PF and SF, have his best years under Byron Scott, and he is also younger and has an expiring contract, which helps in their rebuilding project. And another 2nd rounder is never a bad thing.

Thoughts?

I like that trade from Indiana's standpoint.
