Best record ever?
Currently Dallas' best record ever is 60-22 back in 2003. Now at 44-11, we have 27 more games remaining in the season
To beat that standing, we have to go
17-10 - which I think we will do much better than - I can see us winning like 65 games.
you?

Re: Best record ever?
it would suck if we once again had our best franchise record ever and still didnt win the division and recieved the 4th seed...

Dragnsmke1,
Why do you consider Nash a traitor? Didn't Cuban tell Steve directly that he couldn't afford to pay him, then he gave Dampier $70 million? I remember reading that in his blog.
PS, I think the Mavs will certainly blow by 60 wins- they're playing really well now.

You gotta imagine Nelson is drooling at the thought, as Peja could help him inch closer to his dream of averaging 300ppg.

Should the Lakers sign Latrell Sprewell?

What's important I think is going for the best record in the conference so we get homecourt advantage throughout the WC playoffs. If we managed to overtake DET and get homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, that would be sweet because we absolutely kick butt at home.

becuase he always said it wasnt about money and then less then a day into free agency(which is 60 days long) he bounced to Phoenix... less then a day...now I agree he would have been a bit crazy to take less to stay but it wasnt that much less(as a matter if fact it was just a shorter contract by a year)but he didnt even try to talk it out...60 days...he couldnt take 7-10 to try to come to some mutual agreement? And he basically rewarded a team for tanking on purpose...

Re: Best record ever?
I think Dallas will win 64 games this year. This team seems built for the long run. None of the players have to play heavy minutes. This team might even get better yet since their chemistry growing together and fatigue isn't an issue.

Good point. Since January 1st, they've won 23 of 26 - a winning percentage of .900. To continue that through the rest of the schedule, it would put them at 68 wins. Not saying that a tough March schedule wouldn't make it harder, but if the Spurs and Mavs don't shake each other, the drive for #1 in the WC could require a continued push for perfection.
