Injury report: Devin Harris' availability against the Spurs will be a game-time decision. Harris (left thigh) did not practice Thursday but accompanied the team to San Antonio.

Meanwhile, the Spurs may be without Robert Horry, who has played only four games since mid-January because of a lower abdominal strain.

The Mavericks got good news when Howard said he would be available is likely to be in his starting spot tonight.

"It's two of the best teams in the league going against each other, and it's going to be a great game – who would want to miss that?" he said. "I'm going to get out there and do whatever my ankle lets me do."

Good. We need him desperately. We also need him to be consistent on the road like he is at home.

josh howard played pretty good on the ankle tonight against the spurs, i caught it on nba tv for once, tough loss for you guys... want to know why josh howard is my favourite player?

for someone of his size... he plays all out, hard defence first basketball, he can do everything...and notice who's the first guy in during the little horry-stackhouse...thing?
